Configuring Default RoutesetRibbon Communications/Signaling Transfer Point 2020. 4. 28. 11:18
<Lab Topology>
We have set all the Links and Linksets between all NAs.
1. Configuring Default routing on NA1 & 5.
NA1 and NA5 only have a link for routing. Default routing is best for NA1 and 5.
Now we are going to configure default routing on NA1.
1.1 Configuring Default Routeset on NA1
Applications > MTP3 > NA1 > Routesets > Create > DPC 0, Destination Type : Default > Create
Default Routeset is created. Let's get into DRS 0:x.x.x to create Route in Routeset.
DRS: Default RouteSet
1.2 Configuring route in Routeset (Default)
Create > APC2222, Cost 10 > Create
APC: Adjacent Point Code = Linkset
'Route' is created successfully. but it still is deactivated.
We need to activate Default Routeset for NA1. Click 'Activate'
Finally, NA1 Default Routeset is Active. we can route a message to everywhere from NA1.
You can set Default Routeset for NA5 as NA1. When you are creating Routeset for NA5, you should use APC = 4444 because NA5 has Linkset4444.
Congrats!
